PRAYER:
- Lord, please create a longing
in my heart that will make me arise for the cause of Your Kingdom. Let me run
for the True Gospel, and also run with it so I can
fulfil the demands of Heaven in my life.
- Lord, let me be sensitive to
the dying and the lost souls around me. Let me not be carried away by my
own life, but make me alert to those that are hungry for The True Gospel –
The Truth that is in the Word of God.
- Lord, please cause a fresh
hunger to arise in me for the light and the life that is in Your Word.
Open my eyes to the great depth of Your Word and fasten my life to this
depth till eternity, O Lord!
- Lord, help me find my true
identity in Your Word each time I read it: let me lay hold on the power
that Your Word imparts, and let this cause a lasting change in every area
of my life.
- Lord, please break every barrier (spiritual background, mindset, educational achievements, legitimate aspirations...) to the longing in my soul for the cleansing power of Your Word. Please kindle in me a quickening fire for Your Word. Baptise me into Your Word.
- LORD, Please condition my heart
and my life to the practical knowledge of the Bible. Let me know the reality
of dedicating myself to the study of Your Word.
